Made (once again) in America — Zentech Manufacturing Inc. sees growth this year as effect of "re-shoring" debated in U.S. When NovaSom Inc. was looking to produce its sleep apnea diagnostic kits, the Glen Burnie-based company didn't look to factories in Asia or Mexico. Instead, it found a manufacturer right off the Beltway in Woodlawn. NovaSom chose Zentech Manufacturing Inc. for two key reasons: Executives here could oversee quality control, and the kits could be shipped to domestic customers in just days, not weeks or months.

September 2010 – Advanced Clean Energies of Prince Georges County (4th Congressional District), Maryland has selected Zentech Manufacturing as its partner in developing and manufacturing its thin-film based energy platformThis next generation Photo Voltaic (Solar) platform will enable The American War Fighter (Marines/Soldiers) on the ground to carry more fighting gear, operate conventional battery powered equipment (using the solar powered thin-film batteries). This effort will lower the DOD cost, increase the lifetime of the battery while alleviating the negative environmental impact.

September 2009 - Jim Barry will present "Designing for Rigid Flex" on October 13, 2009 at the IPC Designer Council Meeting at Zentech in Baltimore, MD. Jim Barry is a veteran with over 30 years experience in the Rigid Flex printed circuit board Industry. He has worked at Parlex, Teledyne, Bull Stratflex, and EMC. His background is in material and application engineering. He has extensive experience in the design and manufacture of RF circuits. He is currently president of Eltek USA.

Zentech is ITAR registered with the State Department
May 2009 - Zentech is now ITAR registered with a current expiration date of May 2010. International Traffic in Arms Regulations is a set of United States Government Regulations that control the export and import of defense related articles and services on the United States Munitions List. ITAR regulations dictate that information and material pertaining to defense and military related technologies may only be shared with US persons unless authorization from the State Department is received. Zentech’s internal processes and procedures comply with all ITAR regulations.
Zentech designs and delivers portable lottery device
August 2009 – Zentech has completed its design and delivered initial units of the VideoCash system to National Lottery of Annapolis Maryland - www.gamingsolutions.biz. Zentech has completed the design and delivery of a next generation controller for Aerospace Technology Group (ATG).
