John Karkoski to Lead Zentech’s Mil-Aero and Space Market Initiative

Zentech Fredericksburg Awarded United States Navy Contract

The sole source BOA is for rapid technology integration of Special Mission Equipment (SME) on both manned and unmanned platforms in support of Maritime Patrol and Reconnaissance Aircraft (MPRA) and Persistent Maritime Unmanned Aircraft Systems (PMUAS).

Zentech Manufacturing, Inc. First to Recertify for IPC Qualified Manufacturers Listing

BANNOCKBURN, Ill., USA, June 16, 2017 — IPC’s Validation Services Program is proud to announce that Zentech Manufacturing, Inc. has become the first company to be recertified to the IPC-J-STD-001 Space Addendum QML program. Zentech Manufacturing, Inc. achieved the QML certification three years ago and this year successfully demonstrated the Class 3 level work required for recertification. Not only did Zentech Manufacturing, Inc. become recertified, their wholly owned subsidiary, Colonial Assembly and Design LLC, added the QML certification for IPC/WHMA-A-620, Requirements and Acceptance for Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies, at the class 3 level.
Matt Turpin Named GWDB Taskforce Chair of Advanced Manufacturing

The Governor’s Workforce Development Board (GWDB) has named Zentech’s President and CEO, Matt Turpin, as its Taskforce Chair of Advanced Manufacturing.
The GWDB Taskforce Groups are essential catalysts to Maryland’s job creation and economic recovery at the local, regional, and state levels. The Taskforce Groups are comprised of stakeholders from business, workforce, education, non-profit, and union leadership representing: Advanced Manufacturing, Changing Demographics, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Healthcare and Life Sciences, Marketing and Branding, and Skilled Trades.
