Company Name USAF/Northrup Grumman |
Zentech has successfully supported Northrop Grumman’s F35 (and prior F22 and F16) radar programs for 10+ years providing the Power Logic Arrays (PLA). The PLAs are an integral part of the nose cone’s AN/APG-81 AESA (Active Electronically Scanned Array) radar system. Zentech manufactures many different length multilayer circuits on a polyimide circuit substrate that are dimensionally toleranced to insert precisely into the bus channel within the F35 nose cone. The full turnkey engagement includes Zentech providing underfill and bonding processes to allow the installed components to withstand the G-forces associated with the high-stress environments and high-performance requirements of aerospace platforms. Zentech performs all associated functional testing of the completed assemblies.

Company Name NIITEK/APG-ACC-NVESD |
The Husky Mounted Detection System – Ground Penetrating Radar (HMDS-GPR) is a ground penetrating radar system for IED detection and route clearance in theater. This was a rapid deployment effort to support our Warfighters in Iraq and Afghanistan. Zentech’s role included circuit design activity, DfM, volume manufacturing, and functional testing of 15 separate circuit card types. These circuit cards were primarily comprised of flexible circuit antennas and densely populated multilayer RF radar related circuits. The Niitek contract consisted of a $579 million IDIQ, with $150 million in current delivery orders issued to Niitek. Zentech is currently performing on Niitek POs requiring $7 million in materials (cost of goods).

Company Name Synexxys/Canadian DND (Ministry of Defense) |
Zentech produces the Electronic Keel® (EKEEL) for Synexxus as part of the Tactical Armored Patrol Vehicle (TAP/V) program. The EKEEL is a ruggedized, open architecture data distribution system that provides high-performance processing, network routing/switching, and video signal conversion for access and control via standard computer displays and/or ruggedized touchscreen displays. Zentech applied our considerable engineering resources to develop heat dissipation technologies within the circuit card layer stack-up configuration and developed a complex Environmental Stress Screening environment to test the unit level post assembly.

Company Name Aberdeen Test Center, Army Test and Evaluation Command |
The United States Army’s MAGazine Micro Advanced Distributed Modular Acquisition System (MAGMA) is a leading edge electronic instrumentation device used by the Aberdeen Test Center (Army Test and Evaluation Command) for various testing needs that include soldier and small platform testing. The instrumentation package is a small, unobtrusive, and low power device providing advanced data acquisition capability. The MAGMA is a mission-critical / no option of failure system and is a fundamental requirement in assuring the integrity of equipment operation and the safety of our warfighters. The Micro MAGMA is a part of the family of devices, ADMAS, which provides a modular approach with low recurring costs, small size, weight and power requirements, commonality and non-intrusive data collection for the United States Army.
